Who am I: The Eternal Question of Identity

I’m not my name

I’m not where I come from or where I’ve been

I’m not my story, my history or what’s happened in the past

I’m not where I live or where I’m going

I’m not what I do, what I have, hope to have or what I don’t have

I’m not what I eat or what I wear

I’m not what I know or what I don’t know

I’m not what you think or compare me with

I’m not what you expect or what others say

I’m not even what I think or imagine should be

I’m simply what He says I’m – Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit

I’m simply His – that’s all I ever want to be

I’m who He says I’m –  that’s all that really matters!

And He is All I want – He is enough for me!

We will resume our series on Life Principles again next Week.
